Why attack him we are all on the same team here, regardless of your perspective

Because he contributes nothing. But likes to just be a jerk and has been for days. If he has an argument, or info, or would try to engage in dialogue beyond just talking **** ( with no more proof against Gruden than we have for) most of us would appreciate him.
It’s a PRO GRUDEN THREAD.
Just tired of those people that feel obligated to enter friendly conversations and just be a constant antagonist of no substance.

I might be nuts, but I think the terrible shape of the program won't discourage CJG...it will make his resurrection of UT football all that more glorious.

Its the abysmal condition of the program now that is crucial in convincing TPTB to pay CJG's demands. If we were in better shape, we'd have already hired Google McMACconference.

Plus, he would never, ever, ever, face the comment, "Well, of course he succeeded! He had Butch's players!!!" :)

Great coaches want challenges, they thrive on them. He could and will turn Tennessee back to glory if Currie will get it DONE!!!!! SOON! Gruden TO ROCKY TOP!

I’m not saying Chip won’t be successful at Florida but right now they don’t have the right type of QB on roster to run that offense.

Most SEC teams have already stopped that offense I.e why Gus Malzahn gave it up at Auburn.

College Gameday guys yesterday weren’t too high on Chip Kelly. Said that he had success at Oregon because that offense was ahead of its time. Just like Maleah’s at Auburn. Now that it’s been dissected and figured out he’d have to really step it up.

Also said no way Kelly deals with that pressure at UF. Said he hates media obligations, and doesn’t do well with negativity. You gotta realize he came from Oregon where they are as nice of fan base and media as you’ll find.

Interesting choice IMO it’s a risky hire much like Gruden. Maybe it’ll pay off.

It's apparent 1 of 3 things are happening

1. Gruden has accepted and they are trying keep things quiet until they announce.
2. Gruden is getting cold feet again and prolonging the process to which I think Currie has
given a deadline hence the backtracking.
3. Gruden said no and they are trying to downplay his involvment.

With what AV said I'm going with number 2.

Can anyone tell me how to find AVs post on mobile VN?
Search isn't working.
Perhaps the page #? Thanks.

And would people stop saying “GTFO you’re in the wrong thread, Mullen or (whatever name) thread that way... grow up y’all. The thread is the “official Gruden thread” not official “ good vibes or positive” Gruden thread!

What opinion or debate do you bring to the table kind sir

Interesting detail.. so we think that someone in their 20s has gained enough personal/professional status, power, clout, what have you, to gain intimate access to a deal of this potential maginutude? Enough where he is running around message boards, creating a twitter alias, playing with pictures of horses &
Moby Dick and ultimately painting himself as the voice of the coaching search ... highly doubt it

Its a new world. My step brother is 29 years old and has sold two small tech companies. Has now started an investment company. Youth is not a factor in big business in this day and time.

Also.. if you go back and check out the interaction between AV & Beav, sure doesn’t strike me that AV saw this person as such an intricate part of this deal (call me mystic beav, the directed tweets insinuating he has a say in the deal, etc) and/or as someone with access to the most intimate proceedings of the deal. AV vouched that Beav could possibly be in the know, but never went in-depth to describe his degree of access and/or role in this deal. Just another small note on top of the 58483 observations of this entity.

I see it as Gruden was given what he wanted but something is holding him back and I think it could be the unknowns of the college football ranks.

I'm not hating on anyone. I'm just speaking rationally. I'm 100% Vol and 100% Gruden, I'm just tired of people like this Beaver guy making it seem like he's in the know and getting everyone all depressed, when in reality he knows absolutely nothing. Also, I'm not miserable at all! Thanksgiving is coming up, my wife is expecting our first child, Christmas is around the corner, I believe Gruden is still a thing, oh and my Preds are rolling. So yea, I'm not anywhere close to the term "miserable," but thanks!

Congrats on the your first, seriously. :good!:

Nobody's getting anyone depressed. Drama lovers look to hang on every new piece of information looking for the 'holy grail' and when one comes along they measure it with a micrometer, mark it with chalk and dissect it with an ax. We don't need 'feeling' monitors.

No one minds an objective differing opinion as long as it isn't one that has been beat to death. How much have you invested in the history of this thread?

Exactly!

I don’t think beaver is your typical guy in moms basement troll. He has some friends in places and is being told certain info and then taking it as 100% and trying to make himself sound like he has more pull in this situation than he really does!

Does it not seem that the same thing is happening all over again?

Gruden wants in and has what he wants but someone with a big ego can’t give it up

Didn’t anyone notice he posted one version of his last tweet, deleted it, then almost immediately posted a different version. Not sure what to make of the different tone. Here are the two tweets.

Wow what a snag here — it’s telling that he creates his content in-hopes of getting positive reaction ultimately from VN — a lot more folks connecting dots and willing to call him a fraud when he’s saying stuff we *don’t want to hear*
