Don’t mean to prop up what has been called a fake, but it really may not be fake. There are some claiming to have authentically received the email and they are not trolls. Here’s the email again. I’ll leave it alone from here, and if true, this stuff is fascinating.

Apparently gruden was at Calhoun's? This is beginning to sound like some area 51 bs. Lord have mercy....

At this point in time, many of us believe Gruden is on his way (this is the Gruden thread)to Tennessee. "If" it were to be announced that Gruden will not be coaching at UT, then most all of use would get on board with a legitimate hire. With that said, we are not entertaining other possibilities at this point. There are other threads out there that entertain different options....maybe that might be better suited for you as we are just not in that mindset at this point.

And I'm not bashing you or anyone else, rather, I'm challenging the "coach in-waiting" gig as being outlandish.

I'm doing it on both fronts:

-UT doesn't know what the future holds and would be foolish to preclude other options from contention due to a contract/clause
-Tee is beyond moronic if this purported tag is on the table, but only verbally, and he's in verbal agreement

This is ridiculous!!!!

FWIW I am a UT student and logged on the UTK email directory... the hqc address is in fact the Tennessee Fund guy's

Oh man....

I was responding to the theory that the hold up might be that we are trying to secure Tee as a coach in waiting. Some believe The Gruden announcement is depending or lays on the demand that this is in place first.

But you’re right I’m probably in the wrong...
