Who’s Frost’s agent? Did anyone catch Currie’s Nebraska reference on the pre-game interview? Kessling specifically asked him about the coaching search. He went on to say they were blessed with a great team committed to hiring a great coach, then said there were several SEC positions going to be open and then said Nebraska had an opening, backtracked a little and said well probably would have an opening, didn’t know for sure.

My heart stopped for a second. Sounded like he was hinting at Frost.

After a quick GS, couldn't immediately find his agent ties.

Agree to disagree. As I stated, I never want someone who is failing upward because we couldn't get anyone else. That's just me, I know. I'm a prickly turd this morning. I recognize this. Sorry to all.

The first step towards recovery....

Ding ding ding! Frost also said that the reports that he would be the next Nebraska coach were absolutely false. Are we waiting to see if Nebraska fires their coach to get an answer from Frost?

For some "morning after" mental gymnastics....if Butch Jones had coached each of the teams that beat us, how many games would we have possibly won?

I’m sure some of you have seen the video that’s posted on Twitter of the person following Currie around at the game last night yelling at him to hire Gruden. It is extremely cringeworthy. I’m embarrassed as a Grudenite that this happened and is floating around there as such a poor representation of the fan base.

Let’s remember something. I am not here to dispel any particular posters information. You never know who someone is so it is not my place to say someone is wrong and call them out. Let’s all be civil and humane..hiding behind usernames and anonymity on the internet doesn’t give anyone the right to talk poorly of someone or call them names.

I am simply sharing my thoughts on the process and how these things are handled. I did want to specifically help people with some things i had heard or seen in last few days to try and keep everyone from spending their entire day trying to track planes and chase meaningless information that folks are coming in here with simply to stir stuff up.
Well said.. But you have to admit that the Jon Reed undercover stakeout was some VolNation gold.

I think at some point it becomes bad. I compare it to a proposal. The longer you think about it the more the proposer feels unwanted. May be a bad analogy but what will vol fans think of JG if he continues to let this go unanswered and it comes out that we offered everything and he still said no. He loves the attention now because it’s good. That may not be the case if this turns out bad.

I agree. I persoanlly am about over Jon Gruden.

That was awful. Someone should have punched him. Hell Currie should have

Some of you are really easily distracted. Many of the answers are there. You just have to hold off th knee jerk reactions long enough to see what’s right in front of your face. Read, digest and think - before you react. You just might have more answers than you think.

I agree. But it seems over the last 3 days, it's been really bad! I expect more "insiders" to backtrack throughout the day

Norvell :flush: Would be another disastrous hire!

2006 Central Arkansas (GA)
2007–2008 Tulsa (GA/WR)
2009 Tulsa (PGC/WR)
2010 Tulsa (PGC/WR/DR)
2011 Pittsburgh (Co-OC/WR/DR)
2012–2013 Arizona State (OC/QB)
2014–2015 Arizona State (AHC/OC/QB)
2016–present Memphis

Did you read past Norvell smh

Frost imo is the real deal, Mullen could get things done imo, Kelly would be nice but doubtful, maybe Mulzahn if he tells AU to blow goats?

His name is being discussed

I’m not calling anybody out, and I’m all for Gruden 100%. However, I would like to hear from the insiders who have said that the deal has been done, and that we are just waiting on the timing of the announcement.

You won't unless it's a "it's a done deal and I have no reason to not believe my sources. Until someone else is at the podium, it's Gruden
Or, "MOU was signed but something happened last minute".

With that said, I think the second is most plausible

Dood....I had a dream last night that Gruden said no, and we hired Scott Frost. Then all my friends in NE (I used to own a business there), got mad at me and started rumors about me.
