Mine vibrated and shook shifting. Mostly at highway speeds. Loss of power too. Could smell the fluid cooking when it got really bad.I think their temp flush bandaid really screwed me then. The extended warranty letter was sent to me a few months after my flush. I called them and they keep saying I had to flash a code.
When you pull a TC, can you see anythung in the transmission? How do you know if it is bad, because service didnt say anything about it.

they didnt per se flush it..they filled and drained 3 times and call it a “flush”.You should never flush an automatic transmission is what my mechanics have always told me. It stirs up all the metal shavings and particles and will grenade a transmission. Only drain and fill is OK. Sometimes this takes 2 or 3 drain/fills to replace all or nearly all of the fluid also. I know on my wifes Explorer from experience that you can only drain off about 5quarts at once...and it holds 15. Best to drain 5 off...go drive it for 20mins making sure it runs thru the gears several times...then drain 5 more quarts off and replace 5 again. Depending on how old/dirty the fluid is, twice may be enough or 3 times might be needed to get back to clean fluid.
I think some garages can "vacuum" the old fluid out and replace most of it in 1 session...but I dont know if that is OK or may be destructive like trying to "flush" it. I would do some research about your specific make and model both on the web and on youtube. There is likely a website/page for people who own your exact make and model Honda. They can be a great resource for maintenance and troubleshooting and save you mucho $$$. Good luck OB
