Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

I'm not sure this won't be considered a solid win by season's end.

Lebby does have Cow State heading in the right direction. I'm not sure how sustainable it can be but they're showing life for the first time since the Mullen years.

They've got some grueling games coming up, but they could easily be bowl eligible by early November.

They still have Texas, Texas A&M, Florida, Auburn, Missouri and Ole Miss to go. Making a bowl with 6 wins would be a major feat, get to 7 wins and Lebby should be considered for Coach Of The Year honors.

They have Florida and Arkansas, I didn't see Barn. 6 wins is achievable. 7 would require some luck, but that Mizzou game is winnable.

I will take a road win against a hot team in our conference. Don't care how we do it.

MSU is one of the bigger turnaround stories this year.

Im happy as can be. Kitselman had his worst game ever in the passing game and we still won. We left 2TDs on the field in the passing game...the refs STOLE another TD by Brazzell...we fumbled away a punt AND allowed a fake punt to convert on 4th and 8. We STILL WON. Hope we got all that BS out of our system.

Might be a congressional hearing over that.

Really smart play though. Good coaching. Didnt risk a blocked punt or a punt return for TD. Smart football.

Staley should have to sit the next game. He fumbled the punt, dropped a 15yd pass that would have been 1st and goal, and dropped 3 other passes. 4 total drops and a fumble. Ridiculous. Didnt make plays either from the Slot which is our most productive WR position. Brazzell was lined up in the slot for his 1st TD. He was outside on the 2nd one with the BS penalty.

If Rad Jackson is back for Arkansas, I hope he starts getting snaps in the slot. I was a HUGE Staley guy coming out of HS. He has elite quickness and really good speed ...he was the sleeper in the 2024 class at WR behind Matthews. He has only made 2 big plays in 4 games this season. 73yd TD vs SYR and a TD vs either UGA or UAB. He lead the team in dropped passes before his 4 drops today. He is Nimrod all over again. Just cannot catch the damn ball. Somebody else needs to step up at the Slot WR position. Brazzell is dominant outside. Matthews has stepped up this year and done pretty well. Staley is a disappointment. He came OUT from halftime...where you KNOW they talked over and over about execution and hands...and on the very 1st play Staley drops a swing pass in the backfield that was on target and on time. Hit him in both hands. We have to get better production from the Slot to run this offense. Stone Hands Staley better get right before he gets left behind.

He made a great move down there at the goal line for a first down, though.

I mean I'm sure he knows he needs to play better. Hoping his worst game (today) is behind him.
