It's a rough time in our lives when our parents pass. But there is a sense of peace in knowing they are no longer mentally wasting away. You're a good son, Joey.

** gotta give the refs credit for OT2 also. They reviewed 2 plays where they could have screwed the Cavs and did not. They were tired of keeping the top ranked ACC team in the game at that point 😆

The ACC has a thing where the TV broadcast has access to which videos refs are watching on reviews...as well as hears the audio from the refs and the booth or ACC rules guy on the broadcast as well. The SEC and other P4 conferences need to adopt that especially for the playoffs.

I liked the way they do reviews but the SEC would never give so much transparency.

Dad has gone on to join my Mother and brother, he left this world at 1:58 this morning. He was a man’s man, big, strong, tough as nails until dementia got a hold of him, it’s the cruelest of diseases, so I am glad he didn’t have to suffer for as long many others had/have to. The VOLS lost a great fan today, I will miss him dearly, but take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in both mind and body.

Sorry for your loss. Never easy to lose someone you love. Sounds like he was a big part of your life, and raised you well!

Dementia is a deeply arduous process when it's happening to those close to you. His suffering is over and it sounds like you have a lifetime of good memories with him.

You and yours are in my thoughts today, Joey!

Yall watching ND vs Ark? Or is there a better noon game on?

Ark was up 3-0 and had ND stopped on 3rd and 6 and the refs called roughing the passer when a defender hit the QB with his hand in a dowward motion like he was blocking a shot in basketball LMAO. His hand was the only part of his body that touched the QB...on his shoulder pad. It was a terrible call and the crowd went crazy but in fairness the ND QB fell down like he was hit by a truck. Great acting job by the ND QB. ND scored a TD a couple plays later to go up 7-3.

4 out of 5 of those guys picked Ole Miss to upset LSU. That game should be on now instead of a garbage noon slate.

4 out of 5 picked PSU to beat Oregon. Oregons last couple recruiting classes have been top3. Talent wise especially at skill positions Oregon should be better. Should be a good game tonight

So sorry to hear of your loss, man.
I lost my wife to glioblastoma in December and dad to dementia in July.
Three weeks after dad was in the ground, mom fell and broke her hip. I remember your recommendation about Asbury/Waters, so that's where mom went for rehab.
I will keep your family in my prayers.

Lost my brother to a glioblastoma in December 3 days before Christmas as well. Mom to leukemia a year and a half before. Just brutal.

Wow, man. That is so difficult.

I had never seen anything like glioblastoma before. Ever.

Dad got pneumonia and had to be put in the hospital. He had been going downhill with the dementia, and once his fever was gone, he could not acclimate at all to his new surroundings and was in perpetual delirium.
