I might have everyone beat. When I was 12 I went to this Iranian island in the Persian gulf called Kish. It was in July. The temperature was in the low 100s, but the humidity would make Houston look like Vegas in comparison. The “feels like” was consistently 120+. Stepping foot outside was equivocal to opening a dishwasher in your face mid cycle.

This explains A LOT of the anger in that part of the world.

I mistakenly thought actual practice began today with the usual Fingers threads and widespread joy and celebrations. Oof. For those like me jist dying for some ball, this is a good podcast as usual. Most interesting takeaway thus far: i knew we were gonna be young at Safety this year but of the 4 guys who played last season only 1 remains (Turrentine) and he lead the team with 12 missed tackles last year. When a Safety misses a tackle...BIG gains are usually had or TDs. Our defense was stellar last year though and will be top 20 again this season IMO. Look for Farooq, Beasley, and Thomas (Jacobe) to step up this year at Safety. Plus we have a couple good freshman for backups/blowouts.

First glimpse of mystery man. I bet he puts up better numbers than Nico last year. If you've watched his tape...dude isn't afraid to sling it. Hes played on some bad teams though against usually better opponents. Interested to see what he can do with SEC talent both for and against him.

DFW finally had their first official 100 degree day. Time to stay inside till September. No golf no walks only mow the yard when I’m forced to. At least the yard will stop growing now.

They do the VOLS first. Good listen. Has some decision dates for couple 5* guys we are in deep with like RB Hiter etc

** if we land half the bigtime 5* guys we are fighting til the end for, our class will be ranked maybe 6th -8th? If we land any of them in addition to what we already have I will be extremely happy. Our class is already really good with 8 players ranked in the top 250 composite IIRC...out of only 20 guys? Topheavy class with 4 guys in the top 80 recruits so far. This class is already CJH best class yet. If we land a couple more of these 5* guys it could be legendary.
