Two big recruits from Mississippi are both announcing on July 1 too. TJ White is a high 4-star LB (#5 linebacker in the nation supposedly). The other one, Dereon Albert, is a 4-star DT as I recall. Sounds like we're expected to land both. The "BIG ORANGE X5" is supposedly a reference to 5 commits by close of the day on July 1.

Yessir. Everyone nationally has written the VOLS off this class. Before today one service (i think 247?) Had us ranked 41st nationally. Same as Vandy who has 1 recruit who would even play at UT. Despite us having the #1 QB in the nation, a 5* OT in Osenda, 4* WR Tyreek King etc...they had us ranked 41st with 9 recruits and 2 of them being 5* guys. We are bout to blow up in recruiting and end up with another class ranked about 10th like CJH has landed the last 3 classes in a row. We absolutely CAN win championships with classes like this based on history. We currently sit at 55% Bluechips (top 300 kids composite) and that % has raised every year since CJH became coach. Especially when our 3* guys out of HS end up as All SEC and All Americans like Pearce and McCoy. Sampson was a 3* or 4* depending on which service IIRC...and he ended up All SEC and lead the conference with 1400 yards as yall know. 3* Bishop is up to 215lbs and ran a 4.46 allegedly this offseason too. The former walk on is set for a breakout year this season with an improved Oline along with high 4* RB Lewis sharing carries.

We are in the final 2 with only Michigan now for 5* RB Hiter who is the #1 RB in the 2026 class by far. We have a good chance of landing the #1 QB AND #1RB for the 1st time in school history. We are also trying to flip #1 WR Keys from LSU..and had him back on campus for his OV recently. By all accounts we are throwing as much cash and effort on both Hiter AND Keys as anyone in the country. To land either one would be amazing. To land BOTH would be unprecedented. I dont think any school ever since star ratings existed has ever landed the #1 QB,#1RB, and #1WR in the same class. Ever. We have a chance to do so...even if its a Longshot with Keys already committed to LSU who reportedly paid him huge $$$ AND is paying him $20k per MONTH to stay committed to them allegedly.

Its later in the cycle this year that we are getting hot in recruiting...but we are in the final 2 or 3 schools with some BIGTIME guys in 26. We really swung for the fences this time. Going all out on the biggest names out there. We have already beaten out UGA, Bama, and Ohio st for several guys. 4* DE Gholston that we landed today has a dad who played for UGA then 11 seasons with the Redskins. He picked us over UGA because of Coach Garner who also coached his dad at UGA. We are likely to flip a 4* kid from Auburn soon too IMO. Barn is falling apart...they lost several recruits in the last 2 weeks.

Transmission drive belt broke on mower Thursday. Son was mowing one of his customers. Of course one person can't push it up the ramp so I had to drive to him to help. Got new belt yesterday. Put it on this am. Pita. The main deck drive belt has to come off the spindle to install the Trans belt. Welp, I guess I goofed it up because the deck drive belt came off tension pulley and got shredded.
Back to lawnmower repair Monday afternoon. 🤬

The propel cable on my self-propelled mower broke. Now it's just a push mower. I don't want to hear your whining.

One of these bastards crawled down my shirt and stung me yesterday. Crushed him immediately. I am super allergic but didnt have to take an epipen this time or go to the ER because it was so far down my back. .just took 50mg of Benadryl and a long nap. Hate bees and wasps. Perfectly happy with all of them dying. I can live just fine without the specific fruits and veggies they fertilize with pollen. Hope there is a bee/hornet/wasp apocalypse and they all die without mercy. Especially the last 2 who do nothing productive.

Lmao. Now you have an unnecessarily heavy, hard to push lawnmower. My in laws used to have the same and I cut their grass and mine because Im a nice guy and whatnot.

Scarry stuff…I was allergic as a child but I guess I grew out of it. Not fun. glad you are OK….be careful and always check your yard before mowing this time of year.

We DID land 4* Legend Bey with his official 10.23 100M as a JUNIOR in HS. Thats Christian Coleman speed at the same age btw...he plays QB in HS but is recruited as a WR possible RB at UT. Currently 180-190lbs...thats world class speed at that age. Beat out Buckeyes and aTm.

What’s next?​

Tennessee hosted Bey and 5-star LSU commit Tristen Keys two weeks ago. Last weekend they hosted Utah wideout Salesi Moa. Keys went back to Baton Rouge last weekend but intel suggests that he is still not totally sold on the Tigers and will take more visits this fall no matter what happens in the days and weeks ahead.

Not trying to beat a dead horse man...but 4* WR Legend Bey is gonna be a baller. Smart well spoken kid too with 10.2 speed as a junior?? Watch some of these TDs in this short interview with AP...he plays QB mostly in HS. Baller.
