I kid. You never know when you’ll meet the right one. Mine was what seemed like a chance encounter, but as I get older the more I realize it was destiny.

Wow, saw one of the prettiest girls ever getting a fountain drink at a QT in Mizzou couple years back.....damn beautiful everything about her. I believe in love at first sight after that.....but, of course, she could have been my daughter since I'm much older than she. But deadgum. :p Missouri has some good looking yum yums there.

"I met your Grams sitting next to me at a cajun bar. It was the peak of crawfish season and we began racing to see who could clear 3 pounds of mud bugs faster. Loser ended up buying tequila shots. Let's just say I let her win and the day had only begun there."

So...there I was at the local 7-11 around the corner from my office grabbing my typical Gianormous Big Gulp cup full of ice and my bottle of Sprite Zero for the ride home. She's standing next to me at the fountain drink filling her own cup (not gianormous sized) and sees me filling my cup to the top (I like the crushed ice, give me a break). "You going to leave some for everyone else?" she asks with a chuckle.

"It's kinda my thing, I like the ice" I reply.

"Sexually frustrated?" she asks much to my surprise.

"I've always heard that people that eat ice are sexually frustrated," she answers with a laugh.

"Absolutely, you willing to help with that?" I ask, much to my own surprise since I really didn't think to stop myself.

"Umm, wow," she says and blushed slightly. Uncomfortable pause...

"Yeah, I probably shouldn't have said that," I answer with a nervous laugh, wondering if I'm about to be wearing the soda she just got done filling.

"Well, you said it. Kinda bold, which I like," she says with a laugh. "I had it coming for making the other comment and not knowing you."

"So, I'm forgiven?"

"We'll see..." she says with a laugh. Kinda headed it off from there. Eventually got her number. She seemed embarrassed about giving it out in a 7-11, but who cares, right? I made her laugh, that's a good start.

Thinking about going to see a favorite band (not Led Zeppelin) in January. Atlanta, Charlotte, Baltimore, or Worcester? I've never been to Massachusetts, flight layovers at the others, a few drunk nights in Charlotte. Suggestions?

Personally I detest Boston. I know a lot of people like it because of the history and all, and that is a good point. I think the people there are just mean. New Yorkers are abrupt, but Bostonians are just not pleasant all in all. Baltimore has a really nice waterfront area. The down side to both is that it is in the throes of winter. Weather will prolly be nasty and damned sure colder than hell. I hated Charlotte, but it was because of the circumstance (Vols/WVU game). Kidding actually. Charlotte has the NASCAR HOF which I did not go to, but it seems like it would be pretty cool.

Those are just a few things off the top of my head.

I have no interest in NASCAR anything. Guess I should go hang with my Commie people. lol

I swear I spent all last winter either in snowstorms or trying to outrun them . I was doing that with the last big one on the east coast . I was coming out of Boston and just made it into New York State before it hit . I drove until it was just a white out and had to stop
