Personally, I don’t have a problem with it…. Or at least limit them to certain areas of the lake. The wakes they out off have to be causing shoreline erosion. So I’m hearing the wake boats will be outlawed on lake Chickamauga starting next summer. That comes with a pretty serious fine.
We shall see.
Lakes scare me. I got really sick in college after taking in a bunch of water and missed the damn guns and roses concert with it coming out both ends like an exorcist movie. Then I hear about deadly bacteria getting in peoples ears or nose. Then I read about people swimming and getting electrocuted near boat docks.
Then last July 4 weekend good friend of ours was the woman killed at Center Hill as her kids back from college were waiting on the dock with the boat in sight. No alcohol involved. Her hat blew off and she asked her husband to turn around so she could grab it. She fell off and in split second was pulled under the boat and into the propeller and died a couple minutes later, still caught up in it.
Yall just be careful.

Smart man. Natural gas is the superior fuel in my opinion, but if the sheet hits the fan...I believe diesel will be easier to come by. I could be wrong about that, but diesel is at most gas stations, at truck stops, at grading companies etc while natural gas only comes from 1 or 2 suppliers in most areas right? Not sure how much that matters, just spitballin here. Wise to diversify your power sources though IMO.Thanks. Not sure I'm ready for that, LOL. I was just saying if or when we get another place I want energy redundancy. Solar with battery and likely NG generator.
Get you 1k to 5k gal LP tank, will last years and LP doesn't degrade like diesel or gasoline. Thats what I will install at my barndo with 13kw generac.Smart man.
