Looks huge man thats awesome. Not to be a knowit...but I cant tell from the picture. If those engineered ceiling joists dont have purlin blocks between each one, they need a "ribbon" horizontal 2x4 at the top of joist running parallel to the bearing wall with 2 nails in each joist so they can never roll over sideways. Honestly, I would run the ribbon regardless...even if you're gonna sheet the top of the joists with plywood. Its just stronger and part of better building practices.Man cave is coming together.View attachment 816566

There may be something I don't know...only seen 1 photo. We always have either a band joist on top of that wall that the ceiling joists die into...or a ribbon 2x4 flush with top of joist.
Using 2x12s for joists on 12"centers. Have 2- 2x12s blocking in between each joist and using 3/4" plywood on the mezzanine. It's 50'l x 20'w with a full bath
Nice. Figured you were sheeting it. Our joist packages like that always come with a rim board (same thing as joist band just made from strand/engineered wood) that would be sitting on top of that wall flush with the nearest face of the wall in the photo. If you dont use one, you have to run blocking between each joist so that you can properly edge nail the plywood where it stops flush with the wall. Maybe they are gonna block that edge before they sheet it. @LouderVol is the architect. He can confirm lol. We always have a nail pattern called out in the structural plans for edge nailing that plywood above the wall though. May not need it there in your house...and its not gonna roll or fall down with 2 rows of purlins already installed

This thing is ridiculous. Akrapovic exhaust installed which is the most expensive you can buy. Its an R1250 RS also boxer engine. Dont know how many miles are on it but it looks brand new. MSRP $18999. With accessories and labor 22,700. They want 12,299 for it.
