US judge says parents owe son over trashed porn collection

A US judge in Michigan has ruled that a 42-year-old man can seek compensation from his parents for destroying his pornography collection.
David Werking, who was living with his parents following a divorce, sued them for tossing the items, which he claims were worth over $25,000 (£18,500).
His parents argued that they told Mr Werking to not bring the items home.
The judge said that, even as landlords, Mr Werking's parents had no right to dispose of items owned by their son.

If it were my son, he would have an unfortunate accident.

It is dangerous to let your adult kids move in with you. One of my employees git arrested for throwing his 20something year old son out, judge even ruled they had to let him back in the house. Once a person establishes residency they can make you go through the eviction process to get them out.

Really? That is nuts.

My kid wouldn't want to eat another meal if he took me to court for kicking him out.

We let our son and DIL move in for a couple months when they were building a house. Won't make that mistake again.

What kind of adult wouldn’t move out of his parents house when asked to leave???
