That's near blue mountain, correct? I like that area too and still seems very reasonable price wise.

I don’t know what Blue Mountain is. But it’s almost center Between Destin and PCB 4-5 miles west of Watercolor and Seaside

A million on the beach is realistic. But if u only paid 250k and are in walking distance you win.
The direct comps in my neighborhood just sold for $305 and $320 in the last 2 weeks. Ours is actually better than those 2 because of the view, the location out of the 500 year flood plain, and the recent remodel.

If you are traveling east on 98 you turn right at blue mountain rd right before 331 by the Tom thumb. You go one mile and turn left onto 30a. You are in blue mountain beach. The next city over is grayton. Blue mountain is very wooded and has an artsy feel to it. It's very nice and not built up yet.

My feel good story of the day:

My 81 Mom has an 87 year friend of very modest means who is a widow of many decades, She was of such modest means that she was not sure how she could survive without working at a financial firm until she was 75 and was eventually pushed out the door.

For 12 years she received mail from her previous employee and for some reason she discarded without even opening. The other day she opened another mailing and inside was a pension statement worth close to half a million dollars. Bless her heart.

@1972 Grad whats the restaurant situation there?
Not good. You pretty much have to drive to Port St Joe, but it's just 20 minutes, and Apalachicola is about 25 minutes. We had one out here that closed due to covid, and is for sale, and another that the hurricane wiped out. There are good places to eat in PSJ and Apalachicola.
