Another late December game. Another day that further proves that most games before the new year are pointless. If it were up to me, I would play in a "preseason" tourney, 1 or 2 early marquee games, 1 or 2 games against opponents like Missouri Valley State before the new year and that's it. No point in playing games like this after playing Nova and Pitt weeks before. Pearl's theory of playing the toughest schedule in the nation is biting him in the ass right now

I'm not saying baby Pearl is the problem. I'm saying BRUCE Pearl is the problem. His substituting is horrendous; he doesn't give any combination of 5 players enough time together to form chemistry or get in a rhythm, and a big part of that is how much he's choosing to play his son. My rambling in the previous post wasn't directed at Steven, it was directed at Bruce, and was just one example of many of how his substitutions is hurting the team.
