Official Game Thread-Tennessee vs Kentucky-12:21 ET- SEC Network/ESPN 3

We will stick with Dooley at least one more year. Book it. CDD was not prepared for the game, was not prepared for the WR at QB, Chaney shows why he was left behind, and Bray was clearly off his game and CDD would not make the commitment to make a change.

All said, we earned this loss as we have earned all the other ones this year.

Staying with Dooley for two more years would be more devastating than cutting him loose now. There is a decent core group of players on this team, the next guy wouldn't be in terrible position.

This, a million times over fellow Reds fan.

My oh my, how opinions change from post one in this thread to now ... LMAO, can't help but laugh :eek:lol:

Losing to a team you have ABSOLUTELY no business losing to and looking horrible while doing it can do wonders in changing people's opinions. I could understand if it was Vandy, but Kentucky no freaking way!

No matter what I may think, or anyone else on this board about the job Dooley has or is doing..... I do NOT believe he will be fired this year, if he does not have a better record next year he will... but not this year...JMHO

I say blow it up and start over with a real coach. It would kill stability and the recruiting class but it's better than having a WAC failure on the sidelines for another year.

It was not the fact a WR was playing QB. They only scored 10 points. For the most part, the D did what they should've done to win this game.

This is on the offense and Chaney. Ultimately, Dooley because he is the head coach. The offense was not prepared. The defense adjusted and did a good job.

this wasn't about youth I mean they played a wide receiver at QB this one is about coaching and obviously Tyler has something going on. Hell will freeze over if this no coaching SOB gets 2 more years.
Doesn't matter whether you're right or wrong about Doolittle. If you can't put up the millions to buy him out, you forget it. This is a very conservative university in a very conservative region. They aren't going to shell out the moola for a first-rate coach and sure won't with this huge buyout staring them in the face while still paying off Fulmer. Not going to happen at UT. You should know that by now.

I agree 100%. 2012 will determine Dooley's future without question.

fire the president and that new AD from ALABAMA. I remember Bill Battle and that night mare. It took A True Tennessee boy and someone who loves this state. Johnny Majors turned it around and another tennessee man and player Phil Fulmer won a championship. If UT can not produce a player or alumni to coach the team or be athletic director then why have a fan base ? fan of what or who. ?

Exactly right. What turned the game around to me was the switch to wildcat and resulting turnover, after the offense had really clicked for the first series all day. That blew the doors off both offense and defense. That is kind of amatuerish coaching decision that probably has had so many hot under the collar this year. It was most definitively bush league.

CDD is the master of monday morning quarterback... "Bray was sick all week and his thumb was bothering him perhaps I should not have played him." What an idiot.

:cray:

Chaney's seat is the hottest of them all for sure. I'm starting to question Bray more than Dooley. Bray needs to stop being so cocky and start giving his all for Tennessee not for his own need of attention. Dooley needs to make sure Worley is ready next yr to replace Bray even if he is healthy.

Our D played a solid game. Our offense was piss poor and no one other than Neal stepped up. Poole seems to be a nice guy but I'm glad he is gone. He should have been our Sr offensive leader and he failed miserably at that. Obviously I hate to say "cant wait for next yr" as an excuse but we got nothing left to do cause this season is now sadly done.

For all that want Dooley gone stop being so stupid. His buy out is to large. No so called "good" coaches are available especially any that would come into the mess UT is in at the moment. Don't forget Chaney isn't Dooley's guy, so that's why he is on the hot seat for sure.
