Official Fourth of July Thread

I hope everybody had a happy 4th.

My sister-in-law (wife or I haven't seen in 25 years, and for good reason) and her husband decided to come in from Florida for a few days and stay in a motel, rather than here at the house. God is good. She spent about day and a half arguing with me off-and-on (with me showing them Google maps) that the Cheddar's restaurant chain had NOT expanded into the state of Florida and that there are no Cheddar's restaurants in the Orlando area (there are, in fact, three). We are very thankful they left yesterday. HAHA

My wife has been feeling much better the past couple of months, and I haven't been online as much. Tomorrow, I think she and I are going to make a trip to Johnson City to the new Publix market. We now have two in NE TN.

Publix is the best grocery store in our area, IMO.

So I just got off the phone with Sprint on this July 4. The phone call lasted 84 minutes. HAHA

We've postponed phone upgrades for a while now (had Galaxy s8s, neither of us uses phone as computer, but my screen has bad burn-in and her charging port's wacked, and we own them) but got something about reward/loyalty (been with Sprint a long time because of their unlimited plan) so I called them. I think we've been with Sprint since like 2010, maybe before that, and I could not pass up what they offered.

Anyway, by staying on the phone for so long, I managed to save right at $70 a month on our bill. That's after upgrading the phones to S20 FE 5g (2 of them), an LG Pad 5 10.1 (wife had an older one we own), and (rolls eyes at this one) two Samsung Galaxy Active 2 smart watches synched to our phones.

It's been an interesting 4th for sure, as I have apparently taken the leap into having a smart watch. HA
