We need to race one night. I finally got the feel for the steering wheel and I love it. It makes the game a lot better.

BTW are we the only two here that has it?

awesome setup smokey...wish I had the time, money, and space to do something like that. Actually I have the time, just not the other two.

It only took about an hour to build. Very very easy... And the $50 beats the $250 that playseats.com want for their that you can not store easily.

I got all three of 4 of these yesterday from the auction house.

The foruth one will be posted in the Pics Forum. The designer screwed the other side up, but the design is unlocked.

Well now that I think about maybe I shouldn't post it in the Pics forum even though it's animated..... :dunno:

The whole setup is 2" PVC for stability, but I reduced it down to 1½” PVC with a coupling then a tee for the steering wheel mount. I had to chisel out the center ridge in to coupling so it acts as a sleeve over the 1½” PVC pipe. I'm going to add a couple of 90s with a short piece of PVC to help stabilize to steering wheel, but I've yet to have a problem with it...

So guys is the game unplayable without the wheel like nascar was. And how does the auction thing work is this micro soft points or what. I think i mihgt run to gamestop at lunch check it out.

You can play it without a wheel, but once you use one it makes the game a lot better.

Also the money comes from winning races and selling car designs. As for the game it graphocs are killer and it is SO deep. Online races with friends are as fun as COD4 games. If we get 6-8 guys here we can do a weekly race.

Well i might pick it up i know shady and dan hallen from VDOP have it i will talk to them tonight about it.
