Probably cause most of us "sunshine pumpers" are taking our time to do something else instead of whining about a close game against App. St. that we played 5 days ago. You're the ones who can't seem to move on. Lol

no sunshine to pump...our VOLS didn't look very impressive.

But...please explain to me how the AAC is better than the Sun Belt and how UH is soooooo impressive? Who the hell did they beat last year that makes them a media / football darling....got beat by UCONN...at home for crying out loud.

Yes...UH is good and beat OU last weekend, but don't play anyone else of significance outside of UL. Same can be said of App St. Maybe both of these programs are decent....maybe not. Only 11 more weeks of football will unfold that tale.

Hate to interrupt, I really love this separate thread thing.
But also study human behavior, so can't resist checking things out.

So far, the number of posts per poster by negavols, seems to be the true tale of the tape.
In short, volnation is becoming a microcosm of studies already performed. Those who whine a lot in life, love the sound of their own voice. Or on the Internet, the sight of their own words.

It's early, but this thread was started after the sunshine pumper thread. When you take that into account, along with the seasonal negative posters, it really is holding true to conventional studies.
Paraphrasing here, but basically 'Those who b****, b**** a lot'.

However, if this is a true microcosm, the results will soon change.
According to previous results, those who complain most often, also feel a need for an audience with a positive attitude. The misery loves company effect.
While I'm not a fan of those who have an intentional dark cloud over their heads at all times, in general, this is too fascinating to ignore.

Fact- we have just about the same lineup as we did last season, losing Pearson, Randolph, McNeil, and a few others, and have added Kongbo, Johnson, and a slew of top shelf Frosh.... nevermind that same lineup is more experienced... yet we come out looking flat and almost can't recover.... Fact-- SAME coaching staff.... Fact-- we got roasted for giving up leads last year for the exact vanilla play calling we produced on the field Thursday night. Something doesn't add up....

In fairness to Shoopmeister the defense seemed to adjust well in the second half.

Season is over, don't know why we are playing anymore. We should fire Butch and hire Gruden and get it over with now and not wait.
