I'm tired of folks not acknowledging our coaching staff doesn't seem to have improved from last season-- no half time adjustments. If the vanilla offense to the point of almost losing was truly planned, (and very stupid) why were we the on other team this past weekend to take that approach? To me, a true championship team with their mind on winning does not play it safe and hold back, they take the Mich, OHST, AL, etc approach and come out with both guns blazing and run right through every opponent, striking fear and intimidation... But yeah, this was just one game and us sucking on offense that bad and all our senior leaders making at least one huge mistake was kind of planned and don't worry, in one week (even though we have had the entire offseason to prepare for App St) we will get it all worked out and fixed and we will light VT up! Fact- we have just about the same lineup as we did last season, losing Pearson, Randolph, McNeil, and a few others, and have added Kongbo, Johnson, and a slew of top shelf Frosh.... nevermind that same lineup is more experienced... yet we come out looking flat and almost can't recover.... Fact-- SAME coaching staff.... Fact-- we got roasted for giving up leads last year for the exact vanilla play calling we produced on the field Thursday night. Something doesn't add up....
