10 minutes ago dozens of people were ripping him, saying he isn't a winner, can't get it done.....well.....

Something like 13-17 and 2tds in the 15 minutes or so in the game.

So feel free to apologize. :)

I will stick to my criticism. He has been terribly unsteady.

He earned the criticism today. In his defense, there was no reason for him to be called on to throw that much when Foster was running so well. Cutcliffe deserves a large portion of the blame.

He's needed a large portion of blame all year long. Everyone points the finger and Ainge and/or Fulmer, when Cutcliffe deserves as much as anyone and he even admitted as much.

Erik Ainge just WON a ballgame. I don't care who it was against. I don't care how it happened. I don't care if it's about time....28-42 250+ yds 3td 0int

10 play 72 yd drive with a passing TD
10 play 83 yd drive with a passing TD

definately...qb's are going to have their bad days, but the best of them show up when they need to.

Even a blind squirrel can get a nut.

So Ainge can now add 2004 Florida and 2007 Vanderbilt to his resume.

How many yards did he get on the last drive? Pretty sure Rogan won the game not Ainge. Who hit the game winning FG?

I really don't know how a guy can be so sharp to start and end a game and so lousy in between. Those curses you hurd from Western Kentucky during the 2nd and 3rd quarters were my fault.

Erik Ainge :pirate:

29/43 (67%), 245 yards

No interceptions
3 TDs

Terrible line?? :dunno:

Forgot to add a horrible turnover right before the half that cost us 3 points... and about 100 different times where he and the receiver weren't on the same play (may or may not have been his fault). This wasn't a good day for him. Better than South Carolina.. but not by a ton.

Thanks Ainge!!! Great last 2 years, I don't know about many of you but I'll miss watching him play in Neyland Stadium

Im glad we won...but the defense and Dennis Rogan deserves most of this credit...not Erik Ainge

I cant wait for him to move on. If I have to see him throw off his back foot one more time I will be sick.

Ainge was clutch ... I'm proud of him. All that matters is what he did in the 4th qtr.

Passing
Vanderbilt Comp Att Yds Pct Y/A Sack YdsL TD Int
M. Adams 15 27 146 55.6 5.4 0 0 3 0

Tennessee Comp Att Yds Pct Y/A Sack YdsL TD Int
E. Ainge 29 43 244 67.4 5.7 0 0 3 0

(I hope this formats correctly.)

hahaha....when the offense struggles from every angle, it's all on Ainge....when the offense succeeds...he gets no credit.

no wonder so many of you hate fulmer. you have zero sense of praise or blame. no wonder.
