And won the Oval Office, twice.

LOL?

My point is that you can beat him over his policy's but pointing out his Harvard and Columbia University education as some sort of negative is beyond retarded. That said, you're a bit of a Fox News bullet point guy - I don't know why I expected you to think for yourself in any meaningful, rational manner.

Yea LOL. Considering Republicans have been dominating local elections since and the Dem presidential bench is so weak, I'd say his presidency has been pretty weak.

0bama doesn't even want to endorse a candidate and nobody wants him to campaign with him. That's an LOL

Obama was a guest lecturer at Harvard for a period, and editor of the Law Review. Is this not correct?

My point was to compare the intelligence of Cruz to Obama is not gonna to get you far; they were both respected academics in their fields before entering politics. I don't really see Cruz as a person whose intelligence far exceeds the President's.

yes he was well known. But mainly because he was the biggest a$$hole in the room. Fun fact: while at Harvard Cruz would not speak or study with anyone in his class that did not attend an Ivy League institution. Man of the people for sure. Keep believing his lies, but the dude is playing you and every of the Republican for a fool.

I never heard about Obama teaching at Harvard. You must have made it up to further your point about Cruz.

Obama was respected by whom? Did he ever hold a job?

A person who is editor-in-chief of the Harvard Law Review is the cream of the crop.

Some examples: Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Elena Kagen, John Roberts, Antonin Scalia. You may recognize these names, because they all serve on the bench of the Supreme Court.

I don't support AA either, but to assume that any of these individuals, especially Scalia, did not get to the bench on their own merit is ignorant of the facts, which you are.

Of course they got there on their own merit. The question is if 0bama did. His records are sealed so we'll never know

I agree with your point that academics don't mean **** for POTUS (Nixon and Wilson come to mind), but I highly doubt Obama was worthy of his academic triumphs. It seems like he was somewhat of a fraud. Of course I can't prove it, because his records are mysteriously sealed.

Will they ever be unsealed? Atp I don't see why he would if he hasn't already, so I guess none of us will really ever know. I just know one thing: you have to know what the hell you are doing to be the editor of the Harvard Law Review, regardless of ethnicity of SES status so that's gotta tell ya something.

Trump could give two ****s about that. He used that nonsense to justify his own actions for his own gains. He saw the poll numbers for Cruz creeping up and found something that contradicted what he's stated previously to hopefully slow those poll numbers. Nothing more.

Cruz numbers have been slowly declining. Trump has a 13% lead in a poll I saw yesterday

Mitch McConnell passed a Bill in 2008 recognizing John McCain as a natural born citizen but now says that another Bill Cruz is a waste of time. That's ridiculous. I'm probably going to vote for Cruz in the primary just because of that

McCain was born on a US Military base. That makes him born on American soil.

Yeah other than Scalia I'm not impressed. By that list I'm thinking we might need a hiatus on Ivy league grads serving within government.

Until the mid-1970's , the Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Law Review was chosen strictly on the basis of grades. The top student in the class got the honor. According to a NYT article dated Feb.6, 1990, that in order to give minorities a better chance, that was no longer even considered. They were voted on by other students.

They chose their first female editor in 1997, and their first Chinese-American the year prior to Obama. He completed the cycle for the student body. Their guilt was assuaged temporarily in 1990 when they did the noble thing, and anointed Obama as the first black Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Law review.

Cruz graduated Cum Laude from Princeton University with a B.A. in Public Policy. His second degree is from Harvard Law School where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor degree.

By contrast we don't even know what Barack's grades are, not that I care either but it seems odd he won't release them.

I've also never heard of Barack teaching at Harvard. Might want to check that.

Cruz still a prick.

Ever heard of gerrymandering?

Uh....no you don't. You did until the mid-1970's, not since.

Do you? Seems like they could put out a decent publication even if the editor isn't very good.

I have been in various organizations where I came to realize the people who weren't qualified for the important positions they held got there with the gift of gab. Obama definitely has that. Does he have the grades/talent?

That's something I doubt we ever find out.

I don't like them either, but their records before the bench speaks for itself and is anything but unimpressive.
