Since Dickey retired in 2002, we've really only had 1 AD who wasn't a complete trainwreck (Dave Hart). And even Hart bombed on the football coach thing with Butch, but at least that was a defensible hire unlike the others.

I feel that Hart also bungled the merging of male and female athletic departments into one athletic department. I do agree that he was the best AD we have had since Dickey.
