These are the excellent points. Geez I had almost forgotten how ridiculous the VY incidents were.

I’ve got my preferred candidates, but I just wish we’d hire a coach that will accept an incentive-based contract. A smaller base salary with additional annual income based on record. Give me a coach that isn’t just paid to be a warm body.

No matter who it it is, this one has to be right. To fix this it has to be the right hire. No telling what sanctions await so get this right so we can get back to being Tennessee football within 3 to 5 please.

You know, that's what people said was going to happen to TN when Kiffin was here and brought Monte with him... Florida was going to drop 100 on TN and Alabama was going to roll them... And Kiffin in his first year lost 13-23 to Florida and 10-12 to Alabama on a blocked FG with a decimated roster... So let's cool it a bit on the NFL defenses can't compete with college offenses stuff... To quote Monte: "Football is football, blocking is blocking, tackling is tackling"...

For those that think Freeze will be hired by UT, you're nuts! I just listened to a CBS report, which stated there is no way Freeze will be hired at UT with the NCAA investigation and with Ole Miss just now coming off of the SEC and NCAA sanctions. Now, would I mind if Freeze was hired, nope not at all as I believe that he learned a HARD lesson at Ole Miss and is a really good coach.

Reality, a new AD will not be in place before the end of February to perform a HFC search, too late as most names are off of the board. Secondly, there isn't a "name" coach that will even think about taking the UT job with potential NCAA sanctions . . . which leads to CKS to take the "interim" HC title until the end of the 2021 season.

The way UT has handled this is appalling . . . players, recruits, coaches and staff have been twisting in the wind for a month AND the only thing we know is that Pruitt has been dismissed with "cause" and ADPF is retiring. What a fuster cluck . . .

We are under investigation by the NCAA over recruiting violations and benefits. Freeze got in trouble by the NCAA over the same stuff. You all have lost your mind. Keep hoping, dreaming, and being delusional. My personal favorite for coach would be the following 3 in order: Gus Malzhan, Matt Campbell, and Luke Fickell.
