Maybe we could fix his grades so he can get in, then lie about it, then never reverse field and tell the truth. This seems to work for Kentucky, Connecticut, etc.

That may be true as far as the ACT goes, but the kid has been to 3 different high schools the past year & dropped out of prep. Also his GPA is crap, no way he gets into UT & even if he gets accepted he is a clearinghouse nightmare.

If this is the case, why did Coach Martin bother visiting with him? Apparently there must be some reason to believe he can enroll at UT or visiting him was a complete waste of time.

Where are you getting this GPA information. Assumptions or actual evidence? Because if you have info of his GPA I would like for you to send it to me. I have talked to some people knowledgable of the situation that say his GPA is not going to be an issue. His issues of being in 3 high schools this year had nothing to do with grade problems.

Guys, give him a week or two and he'll be his normal optimistic self.

Well, it appears according Mike Griffith Wes Washpun has committed to UT. Says a story will follow on GVX.
