You all can blame it on coaching, Kiffin, Monte, whatever. The domination by Tech is on Fulmer, with his piss poor recruiting, we have no depth on defense and our offensive line has no talent. UT got beat at the line of scrimmage on both sides, period.

Just ran into a much better team today. There's no shame in it. The Vols could've easily slipped into the Independence, Liberty, Papa John's or Music City Bowl and probably would've played a weaker opponent and had a better shot at winning. Instead they went to the highest rated bowl that expressed an interest and played a tough team that will probably finish the season in the Top 10. 7-5 teams don't beat Top 10 teams, at least not often.
