We have just been dominated on both lines of scrimmage. If you go back and look at our loses, our lines(especially on O) have gotten blown up.

You're down 13. You're a bajillion yards back from the first down. You run the ball? Either you throw it deep and get it, it is intercepted and is basically a punt, or it is incomplete and the clock stops. Running you are pretty much guaranteed to not get the first, the clock keeps running. Not sure how you can be happy with that call.

Hardesty has our biggest play of the night by far. Him breaking a tackle and catching the defense backpedaling was about as likely as Crompton being able to find an open man against 7-8 DBs.

you can not blame JC for more than the ball that sailed on him. Kiffin calls a game that depends on the the last play. A offensive style that ditates the defense. They kept it close, with the mistakes, and the dropped pass would have been the doubt in the minds of VT that led to Hardesty's ability to run wild
