Is there a way to find SOS before an NIT was played?
I am looking at Stanford in 2015 that was left out. They won the NIT, finished with a 27 SOS, has a 19-13 record on selection Sunday and were snubbed with a 53 rpi.
What was their SOS before playing the NIT?
I believe the final RPI rankings are after conference tournaments but before the NCAAT and NIT. Don't believe they are included.

Pretty sure that's not right. If that was the case Stanford was left out with a 34 rpi and 27 SOS.
If I am reading the chart correctly their rpi was 59 after their conference tourney.
All I can tell you is that if you go back and look at past years at real time RPI, they do not list the records including the tournament. Villanova is listed at 29-5 last year when they finished 35-5. They also bold the teams who make the tournament, so you can easily see the top ranked teams who didn't make it.
Take a look at this and tell me if I am reading it wrong.
I see a rpi of 59 before the NCAA/nit tourneys.
I want to know what their SOS was at that time.
Stanford Cardinal RPI is '34' for 2014-2015 Men's College Basketball - WarrenNolan.com

I know you use realtimerpi and for the rpi up to date rankings warrennolan the site I look at a lot is always the same or within 1. However in looking at projections
Warrennolan has us with an rpi of 34 at 17-13. That is very different from realtime.
It also shows a sos of 3 as predicted
Do you think the site I frequent is bogus?
RPI is '' for 2016-2017 Men's College Basketball - WarrenNolan.com
