another reason i'm not a coach is I'd be stupid enough to miss this here. They are going for a 3 anyway with that time, so make them wasted time on a rebound.

Actually thought the same, coach K did this against butler iirc.

A lot harder to get a good look off a rebound and hurried shot from 75ft than inbounds with 3 seconds left.

I'm still not convinced a tired out South Carolina team against a well rested TN team would even be a game the committee would look into, even if it's a blowout.

They will most definitely rather look into a Mizzou/FL vs TN game.

We beat Mizzou on a neutral or a good showing against FL we are in.

He's saying a Tennessee loss to USCjr would end our NCAAT hopes.
 
You think the committee is going to put more stock into a TN vs SC or a potential TN vs Mizzou/FL?

Arkansas eliminated gives TN less wiggle room IMO.
