And just as I say that, we move to the 5 seed, and play in San Diego in the newest ESPN bracketology. Playing San Diego St., no less.

That would be a tough draw. They beat Gonzaga. But just lost at Wyoming. But these brackets mean very little thank goodness.

Bracketology this early is almost as brilliant as the idiots who predict bowl game matchups before season even starts.

The seeding and matchups aren’t worth much, but I would bet probably ~85% of the at-larg teams in Lunardi’s field end up in the tourney come Selection Sunday.

Lunardi still with 8 SEC teams in, surprised he has Tennessee still as the 4th team, putting a lot of weight in our good losses/RPI/SOS I’m guessing.

4- Kentucky
4- Texas A&M
6- Arkansas
6- Tennessee
7- Auburn
8- Florida
9- Missouri
10- Alabama

Edit: Sorry just saw Stoked’s post

Still not seeing 13-2 Miss State who had all those OOC wins lol

Nope...I actually asked that question to someone preseason who was talking about needing to win 22+ games. Would you rather win 18 and make the dance because of a tough SOS or win 23 games and be NIT because of a terrible SOS...and the poster actually had to think about it and wasn’t sure.

The answer is always make the dance.
