The SEC shot themselves in the foot with weak early season, pre-conference performances. The Big 10 love is over-the-top by the media. It will be hard to overcome.

Is the SEC suddenly going to go from 4 to 6 teams in? Only gives us 2 Q1 wins and if we beat Auburn they most likely drop to a Q2. Going to be hard to get enough Q1s to catch up to SC.

Yep 20 wins should get us in. Anything less than 20 and we’ll be on pins and needles come selection Sunday

As I’ve said for weeks, you never know what the committee is going to weigh more each year and it also depends on other teams. I think you’re going to see us pop up on a lot of updates today and the next couple days, a win Saturday puts us into a good spot, and likely depends on what others around us do.

I think you win 2 more and you feel pretty good, anything less than that will be tricky.

I said 2 and we are in? I think 2 and you are in the convo, but don’t think it would mean a lock, impossible to say. Again, don’t know why you want to make definitive statements about something that can’t be definitive?

Didn’t you make a remark about moving just a couple spots with a W? Or was that someone else?

I don’t recall only saying anything about only a few spots jump. I’d have guessed 60-62 if you asked me before it came out

I do recall discussing if being 10-8 would get us to 50. @bleedingTNorange didn’t think so then and that appears to be correct

Define move much?

I don’t think we can move much if you are referring to moving from 69 to the top 50 which I think is a huge measuring stick.

I don’t think we can get inside the top 50 without 3-4 more wins
