Awful sick move by ShoBox, their facebook said "keep in mind, the doctor, not showtime, decided to stop the fight". Once TV ratings come in front of good judgement, we're as trasjy as mma and fixed as wwe.

Be nice to have another Marquez v Manny fight.

Looking forward to Saturday night. Want to see if Manny can KO Sugar.

I think the (likely) higher catch weight will be as detrimental as the increase in age. I saw a bloated Marquez try and keep up with Floyd a couple years ago and, until I see otherwise, I'm going to assume he'd look the same against Manny.

JMM is just a sad case of what might have been. He fell victim to sticking with a bush league home town promotion crew for too long, going to fight Chris John in Indonesia for a worthless WBA strap instead of a rematch with Pacquiao, never getting anything lined up with his 2 great contemperaries, Morales and Barrera, in their primes, he and MAB got together when Barrera was shot, but still had enough for a good one.

A 3 way round robin in 2004-2005 would have been great.

Ah, my mind is just wandering.

yea Manny throughs alot of punches, but it doesn't matter how many he throws if he misses with them

You might have a point...Manny's trophy wins have been against "stay in the kitchen" guys like Morales, and outclassed guys like ODLH and Hatton.

I just don't think Moseley has the chin to take a beating, with his age. Erik Morales is widely considered to have the chin of a recklessley brave idiot, and he chased manny around for 9 rounds beating him up, and Pacquiao still had it in him to blast him out in the 10th.

I don't think Shane, or anyone in that weight area except maybe JMM, has the mind to fight the fight to beat Manny. You need a Hopkins/Calzaghe mentality, show off for the judges, swivel at the waist, keep your chin covered, and wait for a liver shot. I can't see Manny losing other than a nasty hook to the liver.
