Have every reason to believe it's UT to the Outback Bowl, but UT spokesman said it doesn't expect to be able to confirm until 5:30 p.m.

Tennessee will play its third game in the state of Florida in 366 days and its first in the Outback Bowl in nearly a decade.

The No. 23 Vols (8-4), up two spots in the final regular-season College Football Playoff Top 25, will oppose No. 13 Northwestern (10-2) in the New Year's Day bowl inside the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Raymond James Stadium.
