True, but Memphis recruits have always been sketchy regardless of the school they choose. Corruption there is unfortunately a common occurrence which is a shame because some there are some good kids there.

I've lived here for three years. Go downtown all the time. Worst I've ever had to deal with is some somewhat aggressive panhandling.

Bad stuff happens but almost all of that bad stuff is confined to a few bad neighborhoods I.e. Orange mound, south memphis near 3rd street, Frayser, and white haven.

There's no need to go anywhere near those areas.

Whitehaven.....misnamed, imho.
