official bowl game announcement thread

You all have wasted 14 pages of thread. I told you to book the Liberty Bowl and I was made fun of. I was serious about my source. He works for Liberty Bowl.

Plus this 'source' stays at a Holiday Inn Express.

Memphis is a good place...I've lived there twice and been there many times. Name me any large city and I can name you downside. There are as many good people there as there is any other part of the state or country for that matter.

East TN folks have some weird affinity for hills and nothing but East TN and this unsubstantiated disdain for Memphis and west TN. When I interviewed for a job in Memphis 4 years ago, I said I was excited about visiting the city cause I had never seen it. My east TN born and raised mother said "it's flat and ugly out there, there's nothing to see, why would anyone want to go there?"

This comes from a woman who's only seen Memphis probably 2-3x her whole life and never for an extended amount of time. She was as dead wrong as most non-Memphians on here. I don't live there but my wife and I never turn down opportunities to go.

Here's to hoping for the Liberty Bowl, which will fill up in Orange regardless if one person from the EST time zone shows up.

Bought mine this morning baby! Tickmaster is the best prices. Maybe gone in a few minutes. West Memphis welcomes Vol nation. Now I'm headed downtown to watch the Grizz smack Miami tonight. I'm so pumped. GO Vols!
