I think one thing the game does well is give you plenty of information. Lots of times I tend to get lost and/or have moments when I don't what exactly I'm supposed to be doing. This does well with offering hints and giving you a good idea what you need to do. I'm not saying it makes it totally linear, but it's rare that you have hard time knowing what all you need to do. Much better than average in this department.

It's really a lot like Condemned but done so, so much better. The whole immersion into Rapture and the city history is very slick.

An all around polished, solid game with some unique approaches to first person shooters and weapon management.

There's minor gripes about enemy variety and weapon aiming, etc. but they take very little away once you get involved with the story and enjoying it.

This game is like a well written book... Once you start you can't really put it down, but to finish it there are somethings you have to go back and check out. The story could be turned into a book, it's just that good.

I just picked it up today. Haven't played it yet, I'm gonna wait until midnight when everyone goes to sleep & stay up all night playing it.

I played a couple of hours last night. My eyes got too heavy for me to keep playing. I got up to the part where you get Telekinesis. I love it so far. It gets scary sometimes when I hear a Big Daddy but don't see it. I'm not far enough in yet to get the real scary stuff, I suppose.

Is it worth the buy? I thought the demo was pretty good. Does it get better?
From the sounds of it, I think Bioshock would be like the best rental video game ever. The gameplay, storyline, etc. is supposedly fantastic, but after 20 hours or so, it's not worth playing anymore. Snag it from Gamefly or something.

I rented this game today. Visuals are outstanding. Gameplay is awesome. This game is really freaky. How is the online play?

Maybe they are testing the waters first :dunno:

But I think the second edition if not an update (1% chance) will have multiplayer added to it.

With that said multiplayer and this gameplay would be great!!

I'm on Fort Frolic right now. Have you harvested any little sisters or are you rescuing all of them?
