Demo for Bioshock went LIVE last night. I haven't played it yet, but I'm reading very, very good things about it. Can't wait to try it tonight.

That same publisher is probably kicking themselves right now.

I was extremely impressed with the graphics in this game. Best. Ever. But the gameplay of the demo was a little lacking. I don't want to hit someone over the head with a freaking wrench for 50% of the game...

Hard to tell by the demos...I prolly wouldnt have picked up NASCAR or NCAA 08 of I went just by the Demo.

I'll have to download and try the demo....anybody else like it so far?

Great demo. Looking forward to the full game. I think it's going to be a fun time playing a slightly different shooter game. I'll probably pick it up next week.

I have really enjoyed the demo. Great graphics. The story looks good too. If I can get some money I'll pick it up.

I got it at Toys R Us this morning. Lady said, "This is all people have bought today." Used the 20% coupon going around as well.

Played about an hour so far. Beat the first 'boss.' Great game so far. Sort of like Condemned with better graphics, control, weapons, and environment. It's a well done game and has an interesting story.

It reminded me of condemned a little too.

This game simply rocks. I've put in about 4 hours in the basement with lights off and the surround cranked. It's the best time I've had in quite some time. Creepy as hell.

Now that I've got 7 or 8 weapons and 5 or 6 plasmids, it's becoming real fun figuring out ways to kill people. Hacking the bots to help you and everything else is just freakin' cool.

Highly recommend a rent if you have a week or two to play through it. Or buy it. It's not something you'd regret. A finely polished, well executed game that is just creepy.

Dr....does it have an online multiplayer?

No multi-player. It's a single player experience. That's the one reason I suggested a rental. However, I think some folks that really get into it will probably go through it two or three times. You can make the story fairly different each time based on your actions.

Yeah, cause unlike the PS3 wait and see what's next, there's plenty of good games for the 360 coming this fall.

No online? XBox fanboys will forget this games existence in about three months.

I actually agree milo.

I played the demo. It's definitely got a creepy feel to it but I can't see that it would have a whole lot of lasting appeal. Again it's similar to condemned. Once you've beat it you'll probably never play it again.

Thats where the Achievements come in. For those of us that have been bitten by the Achievement Bug we'll keep coming back over & over until we get everything....or at least most.
