Stop with the Alumni or he's one of us crap. That's our issue always looking internally when we need to look at it from a capability aspect. A competent and competitive AD, who can balance sports and academics.

This... everyone screams for change. Then when they get it, they ask for the same old crap.

Find a proven administrator with proven fund raising capabilities, and has a history of making good coaching hires. Also someone good with the media, because he's going to need those skills until this mess settles down.

A good AD that can make the right hire here can make us forget any of this circus ever happened.

I don't get a vote, but I'd be OK with an Ingram/Clark combo. May not be a home run but a solid choice of successful experienced professionals. I believe they would have us back to respectability in short order.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

I would like for them to aim higher in both positions but doubt they could do any better now given the fiasco Pruitt and Fulmer has created.

Ingram at UAB should be considered as well.

If Blackburn is a real candidate then he must've either mendsd fences or those reports were overblown.
Interesting article from "back in the day" about Blackburn leaving UTC. Apparently he REALLY wanted the UT job and folks in Chattanooga felt he wanted it more than he wanted the job he had. We all know he didn't get it and apparently there was bad blood. It's a bit of a "Meh?" from me, if this was all.

I'm STILL in the Mark Ingram camp but I'd not scoff at Blackburn.
