I'm leaning towards this as well. I'm kind of with Calban on this one, I was expecting our front court to be a lot better than what it is. Wasn't Kasongo averaging a ridiculous amount of BPG in JUCO, like 6bpg in 40 minutes? Was hoping he'd be at least a defensive presence. I know we didn't get to see him much in the exhibition, but still.
Barnes putting Alexander in for Reese is a high risk high reward play, will give them a chance at a rim protector which this team could desperately use. As long as Alexander rebounds like he did the other night it's a good play. He brings about the same offense as Reese, is just as bad defensively guarding his guy, but can be a rim protector.
