Official 2012 DNC thread

I saw her, not impressive at all imo. It was her same ole message.

I thought the DNC had a great night Tuesday.

Wednesday night all the earlier speakers were terrible, imo. I would give them all a C-D if grading them

Elizabeth Warren fired up the crowd good with her 100% far left wing garbage. I would give her a B-.

Bill Clinton hit a grand slam with his speech. It was one of his best if not the best speech I have heard him give. His delivery was spot on. The content is questionable as with 99% of politican speeches. Bill would get an A+.

Clinton's speech was 15-20 minutes too long. Did you see some of the faces in the crowd? He ended pretty strong, but people wanted to get out of there.

It is well known that Bill and Obama are not good friends.

I can't believe all the hate some claim there is between the Clintons and Obama. Hillary does work for Obama.

If all the hate was there, I don;t see Hillary working for him.

the Clintons owned the Democratic party. Hillary wanted the nomination n 2008, no way n hell do the Clintons play backseat to some newcomer nobody.

I saw where others have posted they thought it was too long. I disagree, but that is just my opinion.

By the way welcome to the political forum.

I didn't quote Malkin and I didn't say u had to believe it, but at least read another person's point of view b4 dismissing.

I agree, but you and I both know that people don't do that. They just seek out venues that reinforce their views. Btw, I said Malikn because Loesch used her as a source in her critique of the speech.

She may. People do some crazy things.

You think she is interested in 2016 ?

She would be 69.

I think she still has interest, and I would think the 2016 nom would be hers easily (for now).

If she feels she could win the General she'll run. Who would be her biggest threats in the primaries? Coumo? That should be a cakewalk.

Exactly. Unless someone currently unknown/under the radar breaks out before then I just don't see any real competition.

"For the second night in a row, Democrats featured final speakers who took a less personal tone toward the Republican Party, a contrast to earlier speeches featuring unrelenting and aggressive attacks on the GOP. Democrats have broadcast their intention to showcase a sharp "contrast" betwen Obama and Romney during the convention, a consistent theme in Tuesday's speeches that continued into most of Wednesday." - MSNBC

Really, they toned down the attacks? Does anyone really believe that?

why play the race card when you can get a button?

Might as well get ready for more of this in the next two months.
