Ishikawa, on 15, just hit the worst putt I've ever seen a pro hit. He missed the hole by two feet on the high side from 10 feet.

Was very ugly.

Watson's stroke at last year's British was pretty hideous as well.

There have been loads. Hoch gifting Faldo at 11 at Augusta in their playoff was hideous.

If Ernie can keep the putter hot, don't count him out.

That shot wasn't impressive as the putts he made. That thing on 17 was putt putt looking.

Hard to argue that.

Though, to fade that 3 wood out towards the water to get around the tree, wow.

He was reading the greens well though. That is really where the 2000 Open dominance came.

If Tiger would stick to more cut shots I think it would solve lots of his issues.

Especially off the tee.

Hell, I'm just watching and I'm nervous. Unless Johnson stays super cool, Tiger's gonna whoop that ass. If he doesn't come out tomorrow with the army golf thing from club being stuck, it might be a waltz.

You think Tiger can fire another 66 tomorrow? Hell, if he had gotten it together earlier he might have been sitting in the 64 neighborhood.

The putting has always been the glue, but he is the best iron player ever IMO and led the tour in total driving when he won the Tiger slam. Had a beautiful swing then. The Haney swat is ugly as hell.

If he could duplicate today, I would almost have to say it is over.

I would be lucky to 4 putt most of these greens, and I can count on one hand how many times I have done more than two putt this season.
