Last night was the first time that I have watched a full hockey game and I must say that I was impressed. I am now going to start watching more often and hopefully I'll pick up a favorite team. I like the Flyers but I don't want to be a bandwagon fan.

So... does anyone have any ideas on the team I should follow?

Last nights game was certainly not the norm as far as hockey. Was probably one of the fastest games I have seen in recent memory. As far as who you should follow, cant answer that one for you.

Alright thanks, I assumed that wasn't the norm because it's not that often that you see 6-5 on Sportscenter.

great game. i am pulling for the flyers for what they did to boston...but a look to the left will tell ya i don't have a lot to root for hockey wise. still prolly wear my bossy jersey while i finish watching. greatest player ever.

Philly really should be kicking themselves for letting the hawks win game 1. Also the breakdown of our defense for 38 seconds in game 2 just may have caused us to lose this series. I look for us to take game 3 at home. I really thought Philly would win this in 6, but Neimi has been hot and has really been the reason for the hawks sucess in this series so far. I feel we did a much better job against the forecheck, but we are still coughing up the puck way too many times to be effective on the breakout. I still say Philly wins the series, but if we drop game 3, I dont think we will have another miracle comeback as we did against Boston.

I just thought this was pretty funny from Fox sports......
Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger and Eager had an interesting set-to after the game, with Pronger picking up the puck and refusing to give it to Eager. The two exchanged words, then Pronger threw a towel at Eager.
When asked about the verbal exchange, Pronger said, “I don’t know what he was saying. I don’t speak gibberish.”

The Flyers need to spend less time whining about the officiating and the physicality of the 'hawks, and just buckle down and play hockey. All I've seen them do in this series is ***** and moan.
