Coming from a UAB grad and a UT master's student, having Watson on there just makes the fans VERY THANKFUL that he isn't coaching there any more.

I may be misunderstanding what you posted. If I were a UAB fan, I'd pray to get Watson back and replace the moron Callaway. Callaway is just a bammer hump that needed a job. Bammer thought they could get Jimbo Fisher away from UAB and told UAB they couldn't hire him. They then stiff UAB with this Callaway stiff. UAB was a helluva lot better off with Watson.

The UAB fanbase is VERY divided about Callaway and how he was hired. Some people love him, some don't care for him b/c he is a bammer. Fans wanted pretty much ANYONE besides Watson. I do not think you will find one that wants Watson back. Fans are waiting for one (some two) more years before they decide on Callaway since many players left (many different reasons) the squad once he became coach.
