No...He's got that horrible Bama smell that never comes off...Why hire a prostitute to coach your school for a couple of years when you know he'll leave at the first decent offer?...Don't even bring his name back up again, Makes me want to puke a little lol

I can honestly say I'd rather have someone else simply because that could mean we actually beat AL with Saban coaching. That's Spurrier/FL territory gloating.

Muschamp knows Saban, he ran his defense at LSU and worked with Saban in Miami with the Dolphins. He knows Georgia's offense because he played there with Mike Bobo, the OC at Georgia, he knows Auburn too. Also, being a defensive guy, he would be a nice upgrade when playing the Gators. What a perfect choice. :)

Also, I wouldn't expect Muschamp to use phrases such as " we're going to work like heck" if his team loses. It might involve some other four-letter words but it's time for the inmates to stop running the prison.

I'd take Spurrier in a minute

Reputation aside looking at his record is pretty darn unspectacular. I mean, it's a pretty short list of SEC coaches that have dropped 2 straight to Vandy and he's 3-7 over the last 10 games.

I'm not impressed. He's getting one hell of a pass so far in the media.

Spurrier is very much overrated and he is not at an age to be starting fresh somewhere.

We don't want to go after some really unproven coach from some second rate school even if he has had success. Get a high profile guy who will stay 7-8 years. Spurrier is about 58 or so - give him $5MM for a 7 year deal that will take him to 65.

Saban?? I, as the old song goes, would rather eat a bucket of buzzard guts and die of the screaming ----- than welcome nick saban to UT. I am puking as I think of it.

GO VOLS

Spurrier's fun and gun offense doesn't work anymore. D coordinators figured it out years ago.

NO!!!!! Saban's only sense of loyalty is to himself.....look how he darted on LSU and the Miami Dolphins...its just a matter of time before he does it to Alabama...No Thanks to the Nicktator!!!

Its funny how fans at all schools want loyalty from coaches but will not show loyalty in return after some bad years. I'm not saying that Fulmer should be retained but lets recognize that "only sense of loyalty... to himself" is sort of a dumb standard.

It amazes me the number of people that would actually want Spurrier, much less Saban.

AMEN! Some of the things I see posted here makes me ashamed to be even associated in anyway, with some others who refer to themselves Vol fans.............:bad:
