QD has a much faster release than Worley could ever dream of having . he also has a better oline than Worley did.

Absolutely Correct!
We all hoped Dobbs passing game would have come along better, if it had, even with the oline last year, he would have broken a bunch of NCAA records, but here to this year!!!!!

I like our chances this year . I really do. Sure there are some games that we need to be on point, but that's life in the SEC.

I hope each one brings their best shot.

121 hitting on all cylinders, is a force to be reckoned with.

Get to work 121.

A QB doesn't have to be fast to run the read option. He just has to understand how it works and take the yards the defense gives him. That play is not designed to be an "explosive" play. It's designed to reveal tendencies in the defense and set up other plays.

Even Worley would have been fine if he understood how to run the play and had an effective team around him. Any QB can take the yards, get down before you get blasted, and run the next play.

Never under estimate the power of good execution. I mean, there's no way Peyton Manning could run the naked bootleg, right?

I think we become a lot more of a straight up outside zone/stretch team with Kelly back there.
me too. still, they have to be able to find ways to run in between the hashes.

this will be a run oriented offense. for all the talk of the qb's, the reality is, the qb isn't going to be the featured runner anymore.

i expect to see Kelly get plenty of carries, the qb's be opportunistic in the passing game. we have speed offensively, some big targets.

you get the run game going at all, and you now have qb's that can really run play action. and receivers that can get behind you....look out.

there's a lot of potential there. we'll see how it plays out.

Guarantano said he ran a 4.45 40 twice in June '15, and I don't doubt that he did but it was almost certainly hand-timed. The following month his best electronic 40 time at The Opening Finals in Oregon was a 4.65, which is still excellent speed for a QB and he's undoubtedly gotten faster since then.

Yeah most of the non electronic times are by their girlfriend or dad. I look at YPC in high school and QD was better than JG in HS and Texas is better HS football than New Jersey
