Not sure what game you guys are watching...I am 100% on board with how this game was called. We have held the ball and even on 3 and outs we run considerable amounts of time off the clock.

Yeah, but how many national championships have you won on Xbox?

Look, I know it was ugly, but we just ran for 250 against a great defense. Everybody calm down.

I'm not happy with play calling a lot of the time. Tonight, I have no problem. Many things affect play calling and mid 20's temp is certainly one of them.

Great game Vols! This one had me a bit worried but the players and coaches did a great job against one hell of a defense.

Dobbs has gotten worse under debord, and coupling his inaccuracy with debord's lackluster play calling... And you have low scoring games that make us vulnerable to 4th quarter comebacks.

As Hurd passes his career high in rushing against a great rushing defense. Lol.. Some of you would complain if you won the lottery.

No I would be happy as h*ll!
But three points in the second half?
Totally shutting the offense down at halftime seems like a good way to blow a lead and get beat, but that wouldn't happen to UT......,
Oh wait a minute......

It was conservative. Dobbs has some limitations. I have no problem in how they called this game late in the game especially. They had Missouri on lock down. You just don't risk anything at that point. Getting out of there with the W was the most important thing. The play calling is conservative at times, this was one time it really didn't matter. Mizzou's offense was pathetic..

The 4th quarter comebacks came earlier in the season when Dobbs was better.

Good point.

Think about that statement. We're 11 games in. We know what we've got. What is Deboard supposed to playcall at this point to cover up a passing game that's proven to be weak?. All he can do is lean on the ground game and mix in flares, swings, screens and try to stay in good down and distances.

Other than maybe Florida, tonight was the best defense we'll play all year.

I'm not sure, but I think they only crossed the 50 once....I could be wrong

It's not DeBord. Dobbs missed two early td passes. But the real issue is the oline. Kerbyson singlehandedly killed two drives - once with a whiff of a block and once with a false start.
