Because he's a true freshman and if does any better then he already is the staff might not be able to use the "we're just so young" excuse with a straight face.

that was brilliant, 4th and 1 throw a ball out to the flat, Simms hasn't completed 3 passes to the flats. it's a hard pass to complete. terrible.

It seemed like all night we were calling plays to play to the quarterbacks' weaknesses.

Whoever calls the plays needs to go. The sooner the better.

Poole has ran fine this game. Simms is our QB and there was 6 and a half minutes left. You clearly need to run it there.

Poole missed holes out there big enough to run a Mack truck through. He doesn't look for the cut back. As we tell the kids run to day light
