Offensive Line

I’ve always called them brutes or big uglies. Reminded me of when we lost 19-14 a few years back. They played great all game except for the last play of course... We had a couple of freshman on that line too IIRC.

In the Alabama game, the O-line played extremely well. Those Tennessee Hogs, the guys in the trenches up front, pushed the defense back on almost every play. Often the Bama defense was pushed 5 yards back. Our Tennesseans won the battle line, upholding sustained drives and winning the Time of Possession. This unit is young and talented and hungry. They know what they are capable of.
The rest of the SEC is on notice.

You have 2 threads on page 1 currently in which the title says "on notice".

That is all.

Except for a few times when freshman and others were "left standing, or stumbling out of the way of a rush". Most of this will change with the big word this year EXPERIENCE.

P.S. can we find another "name for these guys other than "hogs". Somehow I fail to see them as hogs.
