We had only play go over 20 yards today. I am not one to pay much attention to the o-line during games but it was very visible how bad they were getting blown off the line by UCLA's d-line. I understand that UCLA was loading up the box because they knew we were going to run but in the beginning of the game they didn't do a good job either. That was before J. Crompton went back to his old ways.
For those who say we have plenty of talent on our team, let me remind you that we have two walk-ons starting the o-line. Give me a freaking break.
All this talk about being physical and dominating was all talk. I saw little to zero of physical play on both sides of the ball today.
I don't want to say it but I am going to. I thought this staff would have little problems of getting the team prepared but boy was I wrong. You would think that Crompton has never played before the way he played to day and the way the line rolled over like donuts. The line sucks. I am not taking anything away from Crompton but seriously it doesn't help him with an abysmal line.
