Offensive line for Saturday? "We did everything it took to win the game, except score touchdowns."

Good luck and God speed to Devante. We are running out of players on the line. Hope he was able to get the development he needed in the last year, now its time to get the experience. Go Devante!

Hasn't played since sophomore year of high school??? Thank goodness for this coaching staff. I'm sure they will have him ready for whatever Southern Miss throws at him

Could we stop w the Butch conspiracies and discussion for just a moment and stay with the thread subject and discuss football? PLEASE.

I was wondering who we had to play tackle if both ours are gone. Brooks is the guy I guess. Hope he's up to the task.

Does anyone know who the projected starting five on the offense of line is actually going to be? I'm assuming this will be the order that they run out there on the first play...

LT - Smith
LG - Robertson (injured)
C - Thomas
RG - Johnson?
LT - Brooks

Reserves: Keeler? Garvey? Anyone

Is there anyone left to even play who doesn't have to get a special waiver from the refs because of their #? Are we down to 5 scholarship lineman?

Boulware! Where the heck are you man? It's unbelievable how snake bitten this team has been over the past 3 seasons.

This is an unreal situation. Especially with this group being projected to be leaned on at the opening of the season.

Unacceptable there is no quality depth in Year 5.

Meanwhile Bama has 5 stars across their OL with 3 on the Outland watch list.

The good news is that 3 of those guys haven't been in Jones' "development" program long enough to suppress their talent.

Forget Bama... UK, MU, USCe, VU... are in better shape right now than UT.

The causes for Jones' out of line injury rates are beyond our ability to know since we don't have the information. But it is a persistent problem for 4 years now. Football is a rough game so there will always be injuries. But I've never seen a program lose players to injury as frequently as Jones' team does. And it isn't just depth. Dooley's teams didn't have this level of injuries and they had no depth.

And on Butch Jones' team, it's also competitive ("helmet").

Should be interesting So Miss is decent on Defense. 26th in Total Defense. 17 sacks on the yr. Ranked 13th in TFL. Keep in mind UMass is Ranked 63rd in total defense. Good news is their offense is 73rd in the country. TO Margin is -.25, so not great there.

Guys, this is going to be a tough game. So Miss is absolutely loaded, and I just can't see a way for us to win this one easily. We're all going to have to pull together, and the whole stadium is going to have to support the team and CBJ to pull this one out. Could be a great win for us if we can do it, though. A real season changer.

Fyp.
