I think Freddie Kitchens would be the best choice. No baggage, getting results w/ the Browns, can say he knows the pro game which will sell to recruits.

I think if we hire Freeze it can only go two ways. It will either resurrect us or be the final nail in our coffin. No in between imo.

Schiano was loosely tied to the Sandusky disaster and we pretended we had standards. The revolt was more about not thinking he'd be a good coach. We used the morality clause as our scapegoat. Now because we think Freeze's offense is "infallible", we can ignore his firsthand transgressions. The Tennessee offseason has officially become more exciting than the regular season.

No way are they similar at all. Freeze is a good coach. Schiano isn’t. Two things proved that is Schiano getting demoted last offseason and then him not getting the interim tag during Urban’s suspension.

Surely Pruitt knows that if he promotes from within, (Friend), this fanbase is not going to be happy, especially after what we witnessed the past two weeks. However, if he makes a big hire, there is a renewed sense of optimism going into next year.

But then again, when has Tennessee done anything that the fans wanted. Prepare to be kicked in the gonads.

I live here in College Park and Matt Canada has done a stellar job for Maryland in an absolute "no win" horrible situation. He has done a great job keeping the kids motivated and also seems to promote a balanced attack - although they have much more success running the ball than passing it!

No one is pretending anything. 99% fan base didn’t want Schiano because he sucked. The small few who sucked all the oxygen out of the room with the “we have standards and don’t want anyone who was in on the PSU scandal” and media ran with it.

By your little comment about having standards, you are placing the entire fan base in one big group. It’s despicable and far from truth.
