Offensive coordinator search thread

This go to canned response is absurd. The NCAA wouldn’t “open an office.”

He’s been punished and the case is closed. And he wouldn’t be a head coach here.

And it takes a lot of nerve to act all holier than everyone else by saying he doesn’t deserve a second chance.

Let me guess, you’ve never made one mistake in life?

Well, he thought he made a mistake once, but he was mistaken.

Where is this coming from? Why on earth do some of you think he would take the worst position coach on staff and promote him to OC?
Pruitt and Friend go way back, and Pruitt isn't going to hire some flashy, high octane, big name to run the offense. If you think he got frustrated at Helton, wait until Freeze came in here and went 3 and out at warp speed.

They should look at Cooter and at least start conversation. Patricia, a defensive guy, will probably let go of several staff with the Lions struggling.

CJP has seen first hand the benefits that Saban reaped from giving people a chance to rehabilitate themselves. Freeze should be our first choice. He would probably crawl here on broken glass.

He also saw Saban totally go outside his comfort zone for the sake of the team in Kiffin too

Much unlike the offense this past season?

Larry Fedora is local and looking for a job. Worth a call
No chance Pruitt contacts him. I think it is pretty obvious he prefers a ball control, run first, physical offense.

People keep saying "but Saban hired Kiffin, he went outside his comfort zone." Remember the offense Kiffin ran at Alabama? It was more or less pro style with some spread/zone read concepts mixed in. Scheme-wise it honestly wasn't much different than the offense Tennessee ran this year or Alabama is running this year. It wasn't a Freeze/Fedora style of offense.
